Doc nabbed for installing cams in colleague’s room ByVijay ChavanVijay Chavan / Updated: Jul 14, 2021, 06:00 IST An FIR was lodged earlier after cameras were found in the bedroom, bathroom of female doctor from Bharati Hospital Bharati Vidyapeeth police have arrested Dr Sujit Abajirao Jagtap (42) for allegedly installing spy cameras in a fellow doctor’s bedroom and bathroom. Jagtap is an MD (Neurology) and has been working as a consultant doctor in the city-based Bharati Hospital, and as a lecturer at various medical colleges. Recently, a 31-year-old doctor and her doctor roommate found spy cameras installed in the bedroom and bathroom of her quarters in the Bharati Vidyapeeth area. She then lodged a complaint with Bharati Vidyapeeth police on July 6.

On Tuesday evening, the 31-year-old woman who lives in the hospital’s residential hostel came to her room to freshen up. She switched on the bathroom light, but it did not work. To solve the issue, she called up an electrician. When the electrician opened the bulb holder for repairs, he found a spy camera, memory card and backup inside it. Sensing trouble, he also opened the bedroom bulb holder to find the same set of devices.
