LEGAZPI CITY: An exchange of gunfire between police and the New Peoples Army (NPA) rebels happened near the Bicol International Airport (BIA) before dusk on Tuesday .The ongoing encounter is taking place at Barangay Alobo, Daraga Albay within the junction of the airport where strict security measures are in place.The shooting has caused a traffic jam in the area as the gun battle continued along the national highway.
