The BAFTA awards are finally here. As this prestigious award ceremony takes place, numerous talents have rightly been awarded for their spectacular contribution to British arts and entertainment.

The cast of Its A Sin were branded winners by series creator Russell T Davies after the show failed to bring in any awards at this years BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday.

Among the biggest surprises was `It`s A Sin,` the Russell T. Davies acclaimed series about the AIDS epidemic. It entered the evening with six nominations, including five in the performance category, but went empty-handed.

The BAFTA TV Awards saw an average of 2.4million tune in on Sunday night, continuing to grow with a peak of 3.8million and winning in the ratings slot across all channels.

Jodie Comer wins her second leading actress award as Its A Sin is snubbed.

The Years & Years singer, 31, debuted a striking look upon his arrival at this years BAFTA Television Awards on Sunday afternoon at London s Royal Festival Hall.

The comedian, 41, who documented her night at the post-awards bash on Instagram, admitted shed had a lot of fun as she appeared after a hilarious clip was shown of her arrival.
