Lawyers from Brian Kohberger are seeking a trial delay slated to start in october. He is charged with four counts of first degree murder as well as felony burglary. Defense is claiming he was out driving alone when those four students were murdered. Prosecutors say they want details including specific places he claims to have been at the time of the murders and witnesses to back up his alibi. Brian kohberger has been at the other Pretrial Motion hearings and expect him to be in court today six weeks before the start of his murder trial. guy. ashley is here. the case has baffled investigators over a decade. today, police finally identify the suspect. greg sherman is a demon that walks among us. a predator that ruins families. if not for the members of this task force, he would still be on tp streets today. 59-year-old rex herman. he pled not guilty. he did say in tears that i didn t do this. we didn t have any evidence, this is the beginning of the case. everybody is presumed innocent in our country. early this morning, police swarmed his home on long island. it is not far from where the bodies were found. the charges are linked to three murders, all women and he s the prime suspect for a fourth that may be connected as many as ten. the investigation begins in 2010 with the search of missing 23-year-old shannon gilberts. police discovered the bodies of four other women now down as the gilgo four. back in january, they found dna on pizza crusts that connected him to three of the murders. documents
the 100 or so classified documents and not even going after this part of the case. this is strictly going at this issue that exceeded the jurisdiction. you can look at this one way the first sentence of his argument goes at the issue that he says this is an investigation by his political rival and success sore joe biden. thank you, evidan perez. what jumps out at you from trump s emergency legal request? two things. first of all, jake, the narrowness of the request by trump, all he s asking for is that the special master review the documents presumably so that his team can receive them, he can get early discovery in the case and also, i just have to say it s sort of move that on its face is a head scratcher to me. frankly, the request by the doj was very narrow. it was very well tailored and the court of appeals decision was well reasoned. so i don t know why this would ordinarily be a wise choice of resources by the trump team. kerry, in a separate case the justices ha
