On Thursday, January 12, Nebraska Vice Chancellor, Director of Athletics Trev Alberts sent a message to fans regarding Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) updates related to Nebraska Athletics. Alberts message is below.

Lincoln-based Opendorse announced it has raised $20 million from investors including Flyover Capital, Serra Ventures and Advantage Capital.

Matt Davison, who in 2017 helped bring Scott Frost back to the University of Nebraska as its head football coach, is leaving the Huskers’ athletic department to launch and run a new NIL Collective.
