A: This event raises nearly 20% of ASAP s general annual income, so it is critical to our success. Funds raised at Basil s Big Bash help support ASAP Cats, whose mission is to save the lives of cats in Santa Barbara County by providing shelter, veterinary care, behavioral support, adoption and foster services, education and community outreach. ASAP provides shelter for nearly 1,000 cats every year, and for the past 32 years ASAP has saved countless lives in our community.
