Missouri political candidates crowd into line to file their candidacy Tuesday, drawing large and small names alike.

The Trump campaign released a list of six top state officials and 56 members of the Legislature who are endorsing the former president’s bid for a second term.

Candidates running for any office from U.S. Senate to governor to the state legislature lined up Tuesday at the James C. Kirkpatrick State Information Center.

“The Missouri Democratic Party does not wish to associate with you as a candidate,” read a letter given to Unsicker.

St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell and former state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, as expected, as challenging the two-term incumbent.

Letter: Last year the Missouri House GOP rejected all gun limits supported by the Democrats. They included efforts to bar teenagers from carrying semiautomatic weapons in public.
