Republicans decided to take aim at Planned Parenthood instead of dealing with Medicaid funding or changes to the initiative petition process.

When Republicans advanced a plan to defund Planned Parenthood, Democrats responded with amendments to loosen Missouri’s near-total abortion ban.

Recent discord in the Missouri Senate prompted the Jasper County Republican Central Committee’s executive board to issue a public statement calling for "unity and a complete overhaul of behavior."
