Some members of the Milwaukee Board of School Directors are questioning a local nonprofit that has received almost $1.3 million in no-bid district contracts over the past decade. There are concerns about whether the nonprofit is delivering on its promises to improve student achievement, along with allegations of questionable board officer listings in tax filings.
