When asked which cast member was most keen to do their own stunts, Shah confirmed that Aragorn actor Viggo Mortensen was "up for literally anything".
"He got one of his teeth knocked out, he got punched accidentally by somebody else, but he took it really well," he recalled.
"Sean Astin [who played Samwise Gamgee]... he did quite a bit for himself as well."
