In a winner-take-all final round of the 2023 NHRA season, Doug Kalitta captured victory and his first career NHRA Top Fuel championship at Pomona.

Pro Stock Motorcycle’s Gaige Herrera clinched his first career NHRA world championship on Saturday at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, wrapping up his dominant title run to close out qualifying at the 58th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals.

Funny Car points leader Matt Hagan and Top Fuel points leader Steve Torrence lead their divisions with another day to go before Sunday’s finals at In-N-Out Pomona Dragstrip.

Funny Car points leader Matt Hagan made a pair of strong qualifying runs to open the final race weekend of the 2023 NHRA season, powering to the provisional No. 1 position for Tony Stewart Racing on Friday at the 58th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals at In-N-Out Pomona Dragstrip.

 Steve Torrence, Bob Tasca, Greg Anderson also take top spots four fourth round of six-round Countdown.

It was a stellar qualifying session for Toyota’s Top Fuel teams at Texas Motorplex, just outside of Dallas. Four-time Top Fuel champions Steve Torrence delivered a career-best 3.632 elapsed time to earn his third No. 1 qualifier of the season.

Pro Stock Motorcycle points leader Gaige Herrera made the quickest run in class history on Saturday at the Texas Motorplex, setting the national record and also breaking the category mark for the most No. 1 qualifiers in a single season in front of a near-capacity crowd at the 38th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals.

Bob Tasca III, Deric Kramer, Gaige Herrera also start the weekend quick at Texas Motorplex.

Top Fuel points leader Justin Ashley, John Force Erica Enders claim No. 1 qualifying spots.
