Punch Newspapers Sections Godwin Isenyo, Kaduna Bandits on Friday reportedly opened fire on travellers along the Birnin-Gwari Road in Kaduna State, leading to the killing of six persons. This is just as suspected bandits killed two persons and inflicted gunshot wounds on two women in Ugwan Makada in Dusten Abba Ward, Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Also, two persons were killed in an auto crash and eight sustained serious injuries while drivers drove against traffic along the Kaduna-Abuja Expressway on Friday. In the Birnin-Gwari highway attack, it was learnt that the bandits opened fire on the vehicle people were travelling in and the driver lost control.
