The Benue State Police Command said on Sunday that it had arrested one person in connection with the killing of the wife of a retired Commissioner of Police, Mrs Eunice Aganya.
Eunice was killed in her residence on Austin Iwar Street, off David Mark by-pass, Makurdi, on Friday.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Catherine Anene, said Eunice was to be among the chiefs expected to pay a courtesy call on a monarch in Makurdi on the day she was killed.
