Assam Minister says Rahul’s focus on CAA misplaced
Assam’s Finance and Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the Congress party’s anti- Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) pitch for the upcoming Assembly polls is out of sync with what the people want to hear from their leaders after a year of having suffered COVID-19. The party was more “2019 than 2021” in its outlook, he said.

Missing son of former Rajya Sabha MP located by Assam police
Biswajeet Daimary s son had gone missing from his boarding school since Tuesday afternoon and the police had launched a massive search operation to find him.

KOKRAJHAR: The 16-year-old son of former Rajya Sabha MP Biswajeet Daimary, who was missing from his boarding school here, was found by the police on Wednesday in Chirang district, a senior police officer said.
Daimary s son had gone missing from his boarding school since Tuesday afternoon and the police had launched a massive search operation to find him.

Kokrajhar: Son of former Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Biswajit Daimary who went missing on Tuesday (January 5) has been located in Chapaguri in Chirang district
According to reports, Amitraj Daimary has been located in Chapaguri in Chirang district.
The 16-year-old Amitraj Daimary, a student of class 10th in Kokrajhar Reality Public School has been missing since 1 PM yesterday.
Earlier, speaking to media Biswajit Daimary said, Police informed me that his two friends helped him to climb the wall as he said to his friends that he will go home and after that, he will go to Guwahati then he will be moving towards Delhi. So I think he might be somewhere in his friend s place.
