India News: The meeting, scheduled to take place at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi at 6pm, will focus on the planning for the upcoming elections in five states

On several occasions, many local BJP leaders have proclaimed that there would be no alliance with the TDP but their local ally, Kalyan, unilaterally declared that Janasena and TDP will join forces for the next elections, following a meeting with Naidu in the Rajamahendravaram central prison recently.

The BJPs central leadership is visiting Rajasthan often to "awaken" the partys state leadership in the run-up to the assembly polls later this year, but their efforts would go in vain, said Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Tuesday.
