illustration of part of what triggered this alert today. this is a toner cartridge, an ordinary toner cartridge, just pulled one out of our newsroom machines, fairly heavy, it carries a lot of black powd ner it, that powder is melted on to the sheets of papers that come out of your machines and that makes the print that you read. well, apparently, somebody was able to monkey with some toner cartridges similar to this one, we re told those were clear cartridges, not black like this one but clear cartridges, they were filled with some kind of a white powder, which you wouldn t expect from a toner cartridge, and they had wires coming out of them. as a result, when authorities in great britain at one of these smaller airports that greg was talking about, greg palkot, our correspondent there, when somebody saw that suspicious toner cartridge in great britain and apparently it was in a ups shipment, that s what triggered this alert. now, we are told that the two planes involved at philadelph
