Shocked to note the blatant lie of WHO certification for a secret medicine launched by an entrepreneur: IMA
The Indian Medical Association has sought answers on the ‘World Health Organisation (WHO)-certified’ claim made by Patanjali’s Coronil.
In a strongly-worded statement, the IMA said, it was “shocked to note the blatant lie of WHO certification for a secret medicine launched by an entrepreneur”, especially since it was done in the presence of the Health Minister.
The WHO had tweeted recently that it had not approved or certified the effectiveness of any traditional medicine for the treatment of Covid-19.
Glenn Kessler even did a longer thread in which he explained why he’s such a pretentious hack and refuses to actually fact-check Joe Biden in any real way (ok, I’m editorializing there just a bit).
It gets better! But did he mean it? https://t.co/C8QhK0xOpZ
Funny, I don’t remember this “did he mean it” standard being applied to Trump. Nor do I remember the “as long as a lie has a contradiction, it’s not a lie” standard.
So let me get this straight. As long as Biden s lies are backed by contradictions, then they aren t lies? Was this a standard ever applied to any Republican, much less Trump? https://t.co/6UkWkoidjw

MEMRI To Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif: Your Claim That The Iranian Regime And Leaders Are Not Antisemitic And Do Not Seek To Annihilate Israel Is A Lie
December 17, 2020
In a December 9, 2020 interview with Arman TV, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif used an antisemitic term for Jews –
jahood in Persian.

A few days later, he attempted to cover up his statement with a dishonest attack on MEMRI. On December 16, he tweeted: MEMRI has sunk to a new low in taking my prejorative [sic] usage of a word to accuse me of Antisemitism.
