high ethical standards of the police profession. who was arrested and 36-year-old rokhaus giving confidential information to a buying gang. he had provided confidential dmv information about an undisclosed number of private individuals with william betancourt, he s a member of the hell s angels santa cruz chapter. they arrested him for steroids and selling those, having $40 cash $40,000 cash and a gun. a woman was arrested who he shared that information with. he served on the san jose police force and he had at least one run-in there where he was involved with other officers in a use of force case that ended up with a suspect s death. why rowhaus was supplying the data remains unclear but the district attorney s office confirmed through a computer system that it was rowhaus to obtain the information. he was arrested on $250,000 bail and is expected to be arraigned monday. if convicted he faces three years in prison. betancourt, he s in jail on no bail and he faces prior fel

you ve got an intersection completely shut off right now. it was just after 3 a.m. a white 2001 ford explorer driving south hit a pole, then possibly a tree and became completely ungulfed in fire. this happened at the intersection with o grady drive. the emergency responders found an 18-year-old male passenger dead in the car. the 18-year-old male driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. the problem out here is we re getting mixed reports of other passengers involved, perhaps one that may have ran off or cannot be found at this time. that is what police are still working out the details here and will certainly bring that to us. there s a lot of debris in the roadway. this is a busy thoroughfare when it comes time for people to go to work as well as school. multiple elementary, middle and high schools as well. again, there was just one car involved here. now, whether speed was a factor, alcohol as well, all are things they will look into and give us
