Michael Curis Sr., head of Detroit-based developer Curis Enterprises, told the West Bloomfield Township Planning Commission last week that he has Tesla gearing up as a potential tenant for the former Barnes & Noble bookstore on the west side of Orchard Lake Road between 14 Mile and Maple roads.

George F. Ritchey Jr., 64, Bakers Summit, was called to heaven on Friday morning after a three-year struggle with leukemia.
He was born in
McKeesport, son of the late George Sr. and Delores Ritchey.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly A. (Dainty) Ritchey. While George hoped to make it to their 50th anniversary, God had other plans. However, they were blessed to enjoy nearly 44 years of marriage. He is also survived by two sons, George R. Ritchey (wife, Christi) and Jacob G. Ritchey (fiancee, Caitlin); two grandsons, Kaleb and Easton; a granddaughter, Kylie; and a sister, Judi Beck.
George owned and operated Bakers Summit Auto for 27 years. He also served on the Bloomfield Township Planning Commission.
