AN END-OF-LIFE charity is encouraging people in Wiltshire to host a summer get-together with loved ones and show their support for people with terminal illness. Marie Curie s Blooming Great Summer fundraiser celebrates doing what people love most, whether that’s showing off baking skills and hosting a tea party, cooking up a BBQ or playing a games night. All funds raised from an event will go to ensuring that Marie Curie can continue to provide vital care and support for people at the end of their lives and their families across the south west. With key fundraising events put on hold over the past eighteen months, the charity has lost out on vital income. Now that restrictions are beginning to ease, the charity is calling for people to come together with their nearest and dearest this summer and help those at the end of life get the care they need.
