In the latest incident, a drunk driver who was pulled over in Blue Downs on Sunday took one last swig of his brandy before Metro police officers apprehended him.

A drunk driver at a Metro Police roadblock near Blue Downs, Cape Town was brazen enough to take one last swig from the bottle of brandy in his lap on Sunday, 30 May.

At a roadblock in the Blue Downs area on Sunday, officers noticed an open bottle of brandy between the mans legs when they stopped him.

Residents in the Blue Downs and Kuils River areas have been advised to prepare for possible low water pressure or disruption to their water supply during the weekend shutdown.
