Range-Topping VW ID.4 Now On Sale In UK With Prices From £37,800

The first Volkswagen ID.4electric SUVs have gone on sale in the UK with prices starting at just under £38,000. That money buys you the limited-run 1st Edition model, a high-spec variant that paves the way for other, more affordable versions to arrive later this year.
For the time being, the ID.4 1st Edition will be the sole option, offering some design tweaks and plenty of standard equipment. That’s in addition to the characteristics of the standard ID.4, which has a 77 kWh battery capable of providing enough electricity to drive 310 miles on a single charge.
Volkswagen’s first battery-electric SUV, the ID.4, is now up for grabs in Britain, where it is available in the limited-run ID.4 1st Edition specification.
Pricing starts at £37,800 ($51,840), after the government grant is applied, and the first units are expected to arrive at dealers across the country in March.
Setting it apart from the rest of the ID.4 family, the 1st Edition features bespoke badging inside and out, and Florence Brown highlights in the cabin. Customers can order it in Glacier White, Manganese Grey, Blue Dusk, and Honey Yellow. Standard equipment includes 20-inch wheels, LED head- and taillights, tinted rear windows, reversing camera, ambient lighting, 10-inch infotainment system, voice control, Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist, and Lane Assist.

Volkswagen’s ID.4 SUV electric vehicle (EV) has officially gone on sale in the UK, with 1ST Edition models available to order for £37,800 (inc. plug-in car grant).
The second creation to emerge from the new ID EV range of cars, the ID.4 follows in the tracks of the ID.3 hatchback which struck early sales success in 2020 and finished the year as Europe’s second best-selling car – just behind the VW Golf.
Order book have opened today and deliveries of the ID.4 to UK franchised car dealerships are expected to get underway in March, VW said.
