This week's PBS Feature Album is Hearing by icon of the Australian and international jazz scenes, Mike Nock. In a career spanning more than 65 years, including 25 years in the US, he has worked with the world’s top jazz artists and garnered a swag of awards, including being inducted into the Australian Jazz Hall of Fame.

The group Blue Thread — Cristi Catt, Nikola Radan, Kartik Balachandran and Cody Lucas — will perform from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Lower Ramble, the park just across West Avenue from the Fayetteville Library.

Blue Thread performs Friday evening at the concert series Weekend Starts.
