A man who murdered his 16-year-old sister in a “truly evil” sex attack will spend at least the next 22 years in jail.

By the time of her death, Amber Gibson had spent almost all her life in the care system. Her parents met online and by the time Amber arrived, a pattern of abuse was well-established.

Amber Gibson and her older brother Connor were removed from their abusive family household. But Ambers safety was tragically short-lived - and her own brother proved to be the biggest threat to it.
