Town boss Mick McCarthy has made three changes to his side ahead of today’s game away against his hometown club Barnsley with Emyr Huws back in midfield after his hamstring problem and wing-backs Jordan Spence and Myles Kenlock both returning to the XI.

Blues boss Mick McCarthy misses today’s home game against Middlesbrough due to the virus which has affected him this week. However, he is understood to have picked the team with Scott Loach keeping his place in goal, Lee Martin out with a hamstring injury and Richard Stearman making his debut.

George Edmundson, Kane Vincent-Young, Lee Evans, Sone Aluko and Kyle Edwards return to the Town side as interim manager John McGreal takes charge of the Blues for the first time at Charlton.
