The federal centers for medicare and Medicaid Services called for a delay in iowas switch to a private Medicaid Program today. Governor Terry Branstad wanted the new program to start january 1st. And today was the deadline for recipients to choose a new plan to have coverage start on that date. Federal regulators told the state needs more time for the switch. The center for Medicaid Services ordered the delay of the program to march 1st. This just gives them more time to do that, more time to make a decision and to talk with their physicians and to find out what to create a medical plan along with a plan the physician will know abo
