situation across the board, across party lines, across ideology. especially now in this key moment with this new threatening variant and the pressing need to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible, to get us over those thresholds. and yet, a huge part of the governing structure of america is basically checked out. instead of actually governing, doing this very important thing, a lot of republicans are busy performing, auditioning, hoping to rise in the party ranks. just look at what governors kristi noem and greg abbott of texas are up to. governor abbott in texas, you ll remember, started lifting covid restrictions back in april of 2020, the first state to do. so now, vaccinations in texas are not good. they are lagging. just 48% of people receiving at least one shot. that s not good enough. that s a bad number. it is as bad as it gets for a big state. the others like california, new york and florida, are we ahead. because of their low vaccination rate, texas is ripe for

julia, start off on this one. why is it discriminatory for somebody to have to bring voter id to vote when you needed to have an id to come into this building today? you re absolutely right. the id i have is from fox news. i got it because i happen to be a contributor here. if you re somebody who s a minority or student you have less of a propensity to have a driver s license. that s one of the very few ids that north carolina will accept. if you don t have a driver s license, you can t vote. that s a problem. north carolina is now going to spend almost a million dollars providing people with those ids. now you have to go to the dmv to get it. the problem is, according to north carolina, their board of election is .0017% instances of voter fraud in north carolina. that sounds like they re the best state in the nation which i will look into after this show. because most states cannot brag about that. dee dee. that s true. voter fraud is real. what is wrong with showing an id? you
