The WYO Rodeo in Sheridan will soon be underway, and officials are not planning for COVID-19 restrictions.
In 2020, the WYO Rodeo Board canceled the huge summer event because of public health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
This summer, the rodeo is on and won t have any restrictions for the audience or participants. WYO Rodeo Board President Billy Craft said they ve been communicating with public health officials for months ahead of the event. We are not taking any special precautions. We are proceeding as normal, he said. We are leaving it up and we ll leave it up to the people themselves to decide. If they re uncomfortable, stay home. If they re fine, come on out and play with us.
