The Charlotte Hornets have had one of the quieter starts to the free agency period of any team in the entire NBA. The team has failed to make a new addition to the roster thus far, opting to focus on handling the situations with LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges instead.

For the past few days, Hornets fans have been attempting to come to terms with the fact that the team bypassed the upside of Scoot Henderson for the piece that fits the roster best in Brandon Miller. While many have expressed frustration with it, the focus inside the Hornets building has shifted toward free agency, which gets underway on Friday.

Earlier this morning, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that Michael Jordan was selling his majority stake in the franchise after thirteen years as the only African-American majority owner in sports. Almost simultaneously, fellow NBA insider Marc Stein said on his podcast, #thisleague UNCUT, that the Pelicans are considering moving Zion Williamson to the Charlotte Hornets.
