LUVERNE A new exhibit will open on Memorial Day at the Herreid Military Museum in Luverne displaying mementos from the life of a military chaplain who served alongside soldiers in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
The Father Francis Sampson exhibit will open from 4 to 8 p.m. as part of Rock County’s Memorial Day program. Following the opening, the exhibit may be viewed during regular hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 213 E. Luverne St.
