Town s veterans are to be part of the London Masters in the summer when they meet Arsenal, Millwall and Spurs. Last year Town were in the Central Masters and became the only competing side ever not to score a single goal.
With the Johnson to Manchester City story now being widely reported across the Internet it has been suggested to TWTD that the statement currently being quoted is completely contrary to others made by the striker. As recently as Saturday Johnson was interviewed in the Evening Star and made no suggestion that he wanted to leave Town. In fact he said he was determined to fight for his place. The player was said to be charm itself and it seems highly unlikely that he would have issued a come and get me plea so shortly afterwards. Could it be that he was merely answering a question along the lines of: Would you be tempted by an offer from Manchester City if one came in?
TWTD is glad to announce another top book offer. There are two top Town books out soon, one written by TWTD editor Phil Ham and the other by some bloke called Matt Holland.
