in fact a lot of the facts that they put out there are flat out wrong. we have the lowest amount of crossings from mexico than we have had in decades. i was glad that marco rubio pointed out that many immigrants are not even from mexico. and the fact is about 40% of undocumented immigrants in the united states are not people crossing our border but people that we have given visas to who have decided to overstay those visas. yet that gets very little attention on the republican side and really in congress generally. so all of this is just making it very difficult to move forward on this issue, an issue that americans want the congress to do something about. wait a second are you telling me a field trip to the border doesn t make you an expert? did i hear you say that? that s right. i said it. going down to the border with greg abbott or rick perry, going down the one time does not make
