As aid organisations are prohibited from accessing people stuck in extreme conditions at the Poland-Belarus border, we hear from the Polish civil society helping those trapped in the forest.

Lithuania plans to install surveillance cameras along the entire length of its border with Belarus, the prime minister said on Friday. The announcement came only a few days after Poland began building a permanent wall to prevent migrants and refugees from entering the EU.

The 18ft-high metal wall topped with barbed wire will run more than 115 miles along the land part of the border.
