A bipartisan delegation of Texas congressmen traveled to Mexico City this week and reported back that Mexico currently has more troops on its border than the number of Border Patrol agents on the U.S. side.

About 300,000 migrants are being deported or expelled from the U.S. into Mexico on a monthly basis according to Avelino Meza of Fuerza Migrante, a binational migrant advocacy group.

A day after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the federal government can cut down concertina wire that the State of Texas put along the Rio Grande, the sharp wire is still up and it’s uncertain whether Border Patrol will take it down piece by piece, or not at all.
