a good saturday morning to you. it is saturday, february 4th, you re live in the cnn newsroom, thanks for joining us so much for sharing part of your saturday morning with us. we begin with an eye toward the sky. we re getting new reports about the location of that chinese spy balloon that has been drifting across the country. according to reports, it has been spotted over north carolina an officials say it could move off the east coast and out over the ocean in a matter of hours. and as you would imagine, the balloon is raising national security concerns, and it is adding to the tension between washington and beijing. it was people on the ground in montana who spotted the balloon as it passed overhead. that thing is not the moon. the moon is right there. this thing is so weird. it is definitely moving. the context and the timing of this are really important. the secretary of state antony blinken called it an irresponsible act by china. keep in mind, this comes just day

Killed. The man was walking on international boulevard and one of the cars struck him. The impact took out a metal phelps and this car came to rest in the parking lot of a walgreens store. The crash happened just before 1 00 near the intersection of 82nd avenue and international boulevard. The driver of a black Dodge Charger veered off the road, striking the 49yearold man who was pronounced dead here at the scene. The driver of that charger got out of the car and ran away after the crash. Investigators say that driver was likely racing another driver who was behind the wheel of a maroon bmw 320. The bmw continued to drive for several more blocks and they eventually found it abandoned on international boulevard. Police are searching for both drivers involved and asking for anyone who witnessed the deadly crash to come forward. Someone may have seen something.
