FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS – Emergency procedures at Amazon’s warehouse in Edwardsville met minimal safety guidelines when a tornado killed six people on Dec. 10, according to U.S. Occupational Health and Safety Administration.

The federal workplace safety agency has been investigating the deaths of six people at the facility since a tornado hit it in December.

There are few regulations that require tornado shelters and none that require buildings to better withstand tornadoes.
