Two people with life-threatening injuries after Wednesday night shooting in Woodlawn neighborhood

Two adults a male and female were sent to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the Woodlawn neighborhood Wednesday night, Portland police said.
Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 6800 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. Detectives are investigating, and police said they “believe several witnesses may have left the scene prior to talking to officers,” and they “hope to hear from those witnesses as soon as possible.”

Two dead, two wounded in two Thursday shootings February 27 2021
UPDATE: Police identify the first victim killed as Shawndell L. DeShazo II, 28. The other victims have not yet been named.
Two men were killed, and two other people were wounded in two separate Thursday evening Portland shootings.
The first man killed has been identified as Shawndell L. DeShazo II, 28, The cause of his death has been determined as homicide by gunshot wound.
The names of the other victims were not immediately released. No suspect information was available, either.
According to police, the most recent investigation began at 10:43 p.m. on Feb. 25 when North Precinct officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired in Farragut Park, located at 7736 North Kerby Avenue. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded, but the victim was deceased at the scene.
