Joanne Allen-Taylor Named Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the Year Texas Women’s Basketball star Joanne Allen-Taylor has been named the Big 12 Scholar Athlete of the year. She is the first Texas Women’s Basketball player to win this award since its inception in 2013.
