Finalists will be announced on Monday, July 26, with winners to follow on Monday, August 2. The awards will showcase the most innovative individuals and organisations in podcasting from across the Australian media and marketing landscape and recognise and reward the incredible work being done in the booming sector. Categories will include Australian Podcast of the Year, Podcast Series Producer of the Year, Podcast Marketer of the Year, Radio Show Podcast of the Year, Branded Podcast of the Year, and Podcast Company of the Year. A panel of superstar judges will be revealed in the coming weeks, ahead of the finalists announcement on Monday, July 26.

Mamamia launches new podcast with Westpac, What The Finance Westpac has previously called on the publisher for Hello, Bump where Mamamia’s Monique Bowley and media personality Bec Judd walked listeners through the 12 months of pregnancy. They also produced The Split for women going through separation or divorce. Both podcasts have won awards, with Hello, Bump taking out the Branded Podcast category at the 2018 Australian Podcast Awards, and The Split being recognised in the Best Use of Podcast category at the 2019 International Native Ad Awards. What The Finance will run for eight episodes, and will be co-hosted by ex-accountant and financial educator Melissa Browne, and actress, author and advocate Pallavi Sharda.
