John Wick: Chapter 4. Details on his character are not available at this time.
God Country
According to Deadline,
Stake Land director Jim Mickle has been tapped to direct a film adaptation of Donny Cates’ graphic novel,
God Country, for Legendary and AfterShock Media. The story follows Emmett Quinlan, “an elderly widower rattled by dementia” suffering from “violent outbursts” that are “more than the local cops can handle.” When “a tornado levels his home–as well as the surrounding West Texas town–a restored Quinlan rises from the wreckage. An enchanted sword at the eye of the storm gives him not just a sound mind and body, but phenomenal power. He’s now the only man who can face the otherworldly creatures the sword has drawn down to the Lone Star State.”

Armed with a natural, optimistic enthusiasm, not to mention failproof ammunition, which has enabled them to look towards the future and move beyond the restricted context of the unending global health crisis (which has led to a surplus of films for distributors and increasing caution when it comes to acquisitions), French international sales agents have taken the 71st Berlinale’s (online) European Film Market by storm. Here is a brief and non-exhaustive overview of the main announcements to come out of the event.

Top Thai director Banjong Pisanthanakun and Korean director-turned-producer Na Hong-jin (“The Chaser”) have teamed to create new Thai horror film “The Medium.”
Now in post-production, “The Medium” is a horrifying story of a shaman’s inheritance in the Isan region of Thailand. But the goddess that appears to have taken possession of a family member turns out not be as benevolent as it first appears.
More from Variety
The film (aka “Rang-Zong”) was developed by Na with the backing of Korean studio Showbox. Local production is by Thailand’s GDH 559. Co-production is by Na’s company Northern Cross, with the film marking Na’s debut as a producer.
