As a result of the investigation, Desmond Asemota, 21, of Caledon, was charged with the following offences:
Fraud under $5000;
Cause or attempt to use a forged document;
Possession of a forged document with intent;
Possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine;
Possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs;
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000;
Possession of credit card data – 17 counts;
Possession of a credit card – 17 counts;
Possession forged document; and
Forgery
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on April 26, 2021 to answer to the charges. The charges have not been proven.

On January 29, at approximately 11:01 a.m., officers from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP responded to a theft call for service at a local business. Information was received that a back pack containing keys, electronics, and a wallet was taken from the passenger seat of an unlocked vehicle.
On January 31, at approximately 7:08 a.m., OPP received information that the suspect vehicle had returned to the local business. Officers responded and located the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and are facing numerous charges.
Tamandeep Singh, 23, of Brampton and Amritpal Khattra, 24, of North York were charged with the following offences:

A man who was reported to be “brandishing a weapon” at the scene of a fire at an apartment on Kirby Avenue Tuesday was arrested by the Timmins Police Service.

Police responded to the occurrence where a fire had been discovered in one of the apartments and an altercation had taken place afterwards between two men.
The Timmins Fire Department responded and while completing fire suppression efforts, firefighters observed a man at the scene brandishing a weapon as he approached a second man, according to police.

Being apparently caught in the act of breaking into a downtown building results in a long list of charges against a Timmins man.
Police say an occupant of the Pine Street South building confronted the burglar Friday evening. He had used a crowbar to get in.
After a brief foot chase with police, the 34-year was arrested. The charges laid against him are as follows:
– Break and Enter with Intent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
