Reporter vicki says her 15 pound dog was sleeping in this doggy bed. She and her daughter were also in bed when the Mountain Lion slipped into their room through the double doors. We had one open a few inches or so, i dont know, 6 or 8 inches wide just for fresh air. Reporter she said at first she thought the Mountain Lion was their bigger dog, leo. Her daughter says she knew something was wrong because of their dogs bark. We knew it wasnt leo because it wasnt her normal bark. She plays with leo a lot and didnt sound normal. Reporter Mountain Lions are very familiar in these parts and usually keep their distance from homes. A couple years ago she said one did attack their horse and their worry is he will return. The game warden is actually tracking that Mountain Lion to see if they can eventually locate it.
