FALCONER The community came together Saturday to once again clean up the village.
A large group of community members met at the Falconer Fire Hall and were welcomed by Mayor Jim Jaroszynski, Falconer Rotary President Brenda Weiler, and Falconer Central School Superintendent Stephen Penhollow.
Jaroszynski reminded the group that the event was not held last year due to COVID-19 restrictions by the CDC; however, with the state opening and more guidelines being loosened, it was decided that the clean-up day was safe to hold. Residents that were not able to attend were encouraged to clean up around their own properties.
