SALEM — Cole Matthew McCleary passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Salem Regional Medical Center from a seizure at the age of 22.
Cole was born on Jan. 7, 1998 in Warren.
He is survived by his parents, Lisa Purdy and Brian McCleary; his sisters, Cloe McCleary, Alyssa (James) Kellar and Nikki Coatney; his cherished nieces and nephew, Mckenna, Jayden and Dawson; his beloved girlfriend, Zara Klatka, and their fur babies, Peep and Spooky. He is also survived by his grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
Cole was born to stand out. He lived his life on his terms and without fear. Everything that he did was with purpose. No one can speak of Cole without a smile on their face and a “Belly Laugh” story to go with it. He was a very gifted individual. Besides his skill on a unicycle and unbelievable wealth of knowledge, both helpful and random, he had a beautiful bond with and passion for animals. He was very protective of them and they provided him with unconditional love and acceptance

McCleary, age 81, of Biglerville, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Harrisburg Hospital. He was born Monday, May 8, 1939, in Chambersburg, the son of the late Hiram and Eugenia (Etter) McCleary.
Bill graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1957. He loved farming in his early years and helped local farmers with their animals and crops. After high school, he accompanied his father to Orlando, Fla., where they established a house building business.
Bill eventually returned to Pennsylvania and continued building and several other construction jobs.
He was interested in teaching construction with both classroom and on the job teachings. He earned certification from both University of Maryland and Penn State University.
