The shooting occurred just two days before Thanksgiving as customers were doing last-minute shopping during a busy holiday week.

Andre Bing, a longtime Walmart employee, was identified as the gunman who opened fire on fellow employees inside a Virginia store, fatally striking six people before turning the gun on himself.

"He went back and shot dead bodies that were already dead. To make sure," said the witness, who was spotted hiding by the gunman but was spared.
