The status of Brianna Berry as registered agent of NODAK LLC, has raised questions about the potential for conflicts of interest, given the ambiguity surrounding her relationship with the university and its use of the trademark.
The agreement involved no financial transaction between UND and the LLC and “is believed to be in the best interests of all concerned,” the release said.
