CANFIELD While a recent snowstorm meant a white Christmas for the Mahoning Valley this year, for some, it meant free jewelry.
Komara Jewelers in Canfield will be refunding 498 transactions made between Nov. 30 and Dec. 17 because there was more than four inches of fresh snow Christmas Day.
“We like to give back to the community. This is what makes this so fulfilling for us,” Bob Komara, owner of Komara Jewelers, said today.
His children, Rob and Brianna Komara-Pridon, are both vice presidents of the business.
Many of the winners have been loyal customers for years, Bob said.
“In this crazy year that we’ve had, anything positive is just expounded,” Bob said.
