Well, if the democrats offered this before, why arent they agreeing to this deal this time around? because what we understand is that the president is going to offer the bridge act, which is different from the original proposal that would have protected dreamers permanently. this bridge act was designed by dig durbin of illinois, a democrat, and lindsey graham, of south carolina, a republican, and the goal was to be a bridge as its called to just protect those dreamers on a temporary basis, unti...

Job, get the government working, get these people back to work. you mentioned this is a holiday weekend. nobody is there. have you had any early reaction from any of your sources? >> well, i think republicans are all rallying behind the president. you know, it is almost like a state of the union address where you go out and interrue people after the address -- interview people after the address and the republicans are all cheering president trump and the democrats are all panning president trump...

Report. its fantastic in that sense. so it seems to me that donald trump wants to criminalize immigrants. hes trying to create an enemy, and immigrants are not the enemy of the united states. >> one thing that president trump has not acted on yet is dhaka. short of leaving daca in place, which the trump administration is not saying theyll do, is there a compromise between those who are against daca and those who support it? >> i hope that theres something new about daca. i know the dreamers, 750...
