EMPORIA (KSNT) - The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is gearing up to begin replacement work on an I-35 bridge in Emporia.

"We don't know if it's going to be a repair or replacement," House speaker says. "We don't know how much, and we don't know where the money's coming from."

The state will increase its toll rates on March 1, with the highest toll rate being $15 on I-405 and Highway 167. Dynamic pricing will change the toll rate to a minimum of $1 as often as every five minutes.
