Almost €1m in funding has been allocated to “transformative” projects in Rathgarogue, Carrig-on-Bannow, and Cushinstown which will result in “significant benefits” for the three communities. In Rathgarogue, €500,000 will support the development of a destination park, enabling organic food production in allotments and greenhouses to be sold in artisan markets on site.
